Privacy Policy

Onyx Box does not collect your data. It does not have accounts, does not have servers, and does not upload your photos, videos, or files anywhere. Everything the app does happens on your iPhone.

Nothing.

Onyx Box has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no user accounts. We do not collect your name, your email address, your location, your contacts, or any identifier that could be used to recognize you. There is no sign-up because there is nothing to sign up for.

When you choose a photo or video, Onyx Box makes its own copy on your iPhone and works on that copy. Your original file is never moved, changed, or deleted by the app.

Everything Onyx Box creates, your boxes and the transport files inside them, is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We could not look at your files even if we wanted to, because they never leave your device.

If you choose to share a file yourself, using the standard iPhone share sheet, that file goes wherever you send it. That is your choice and your action; Onyx Box is not involved beyond handing the file to iOS.

If you turn on Privacy Mode, Onyx Box asks iOS to confirm it is you before opening your box. This uses Apple's standard authentication. Your face and fingerprint data are never seen by, sent to, or stored by Onyx Box. Apple's system simply answers yes or no.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details, card number, or billing address. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.

To manage or cancel a subscription, use Settings > your Apple Account > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Onyx Box does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Onyx Box does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. There is no third party to share your information with, because we do not have your information.
